Vegan Food You Need To Try in Miami

This might sound crazy, but one of the reasons I moved here was because of the food. I lived in Puerto Rico and besides not really having a functional kitchen, the vegan or vegetarian options were very limited. As you can probably tell, I was completely dazzled by the variety of food options in Miami.
Having lived here for a couple of years (in no particular order) I wanted to share some of my absolute favorite vegan dishes around Miami.

What I really love about this place is that even though the food is outrageously good, its still all pretty healthy options. Some of my other favorites here arte the arepa pelúa, chamo bowl, and taco salad.

This is the most nurturing soup of all time. It tastes absolutely phenomenal. I can't get through a hangover without this miraculous piece of sunshine. I sincerely have no idea how they're able to pack such a punch of flavor in this soup being vegan, I kid you not, it tastes just like a normal sancocho would. Would recommend 1000000%

Next up is SHIDO . I personally am not a fan of a plain old veggie roll. This is actually the same owners as Love Life Cafe, so as you could imagine... their food is BOMB. Their rolls are super unique. You'll find things like vegan California roll, sushi pizza, and maki on their menu.
One of my favorites has to be the green dragon roll, which is made with cashew cream cheese, avocado, scallions, kanpyo, nori furikake, kimchi mayo, massage arare and seasoned rice on the outside. yummmmmm.

Ohhhh myyyy gosh. Alright so THATCH is the king of all places. Its more of a nicer, sit down dinner kind of place but there's also a bakery entrance where you can grab pastries and a quick cup of coffee.
I can't express how amazing this place is ... down to everything! The service is incredible, the restaurant is really beautifully made, and the food is a vegan DREAM.
Okay so here you HAVE to get the ceviche. Its a little spicy but the flavors are BAMMM boom chikawowow. If you're in the mood for something a little lighter, the kelp noodles are super delicious and refreshing. Their brunch options are incredible, please go check out their menu.
You CAN NOT leave without trying some of their ice cream, I never knew a vegan ice cream could taste so good. Also, their coconut banana cream pie also kicks some ass.

Alright so this one is actually in Fort Lauderdale BUT, I promise their coconut burger is well worth the drive up. Its crusted with coconut flakes and comes with a pineapple salsa. It is sooooo good. Even if you're not a fan of either of those fruits I'm willing to bet you'll backflip over this burger. They also have a BBQ Cheeseburger which is also freaking delicious and they're fries are incredible! Get the loaded ones. :) You can check them out here.

Yes, this is a movie theatre, but hear me out on this one. Its a super NICE movie theatre, and they have one of the best kale Caesar salad and impossible nachos I've ever had. I'm a big fan of some nice loaded nachos and the opportunity of having something vegan/vegetarian that delicious in a NICE movie theatre is incredible.
